In the living area, a short original wall became a design opportunity. We engineered a custom sofa back panel extension that visually elongates the space. This architectural joinery does double duty: it houses a discreet “garage” for the robot vacuum and features an illuminated niche for decor, creating a seamless visual transition into the dining area.
The heart of the home is split into two specialized zones to cater to the modern Malaysian lifestyle. The dry kitchen features a sleek bar counter serving as a social hub, separated from the wet kitchen by a glass sliding door to preserve visual connectivity. The wet kitchen is designed for serious culinary work with a generous central island and cabinetry engineered for “zero clutter”—featuring hidden compartments for rice cookers and air fryers, alongside dedicated housing for the standalone oven.
The master bedroom is a study in softness and secret storage. We softened the room’s architecture with a curved bedhead design that wraps around the sleeping quarters, integrated with warm night lighting. The dressing area addresses cluttered countertops with smart joinery: a tall cabinet conceals cosmetics, a pull-out drawer organizes hair tools, and a specialized compartment hides the laundry basket entirely from view. Upon entering, a lit display cabinet showcases the client’s personal collection, immediately grounding the space with personality.
