PROJECT OVERVIEW

A raw, used constructed commercial unit. The space was undefined, characterized by dark, heavy floor tiles, exposed wiring, and stark, unfinished walls. The atmosphere was cold and industrial—far from the welcoming and healing environment required for a healthcare facility. Our challenge was to completely overhaul this shell into a functional, calming, and professional physiotherapy clinic.
Our design vision was to create a space that balances professional clinical requirements with a warm, inviting atmosphere that promotes recovery. We utilized a “Scandi-Industrial” approach—softening the necessary clinical equipment with warm wood textures, soft fabrics, and a soothing color palette, while maintaining clean lines and functional layouts.

The primary goal was to alleviate patient anxiety upon entry. We achieved this by replacing the dark flooring with warm, light oak vinyl planks that run throughout the entire space, immediately brightening the space and providing a seamless, hygienic flow.
